Dear Club Fondue Member

At this time it is our unfortunate responsibility to inform you that our San Jose location on 72 South First Street will no longer be operating as a Melting Pot restaurant.

We invite you to enjoy The Melting Pot experience that you have come to enjoy at The Melting Pot of San Mateo located at 2 North B Street or The Melting Pot of Larkspur located at 125 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

As our way of saying “Thanks”, we are offering you a $15 discount off your food or beverage purchase. This offer is not valid on holidays or for special events and may not be used for merchandise, gift cards, tax or gratuity.

Please call The Melting Pot of San Mateo at 650-342-6358 or The Melting Pot of Larkspur at 415-461-6358 for reservations.

Thanks for your continued support of The Melting Pot.

Not that I ever GOT to the SJ location more than once, but still.

Dude... I still need to try the Melting Pot here in Houston. However, when I get in the mood, I usually end up settling for the White Wine Swiss Cheese soup at Rudi Lechner's nearby. I just say "bring Daddy extra bread" and that cures my jones... still and all... not the same as fonduing the whole meal, tho...

Wow. Now I'm really glad I got there once, before the lactose intolerance went completely crazy.

So... what will it be operating as? A T-shirt store? A discount investment bank? A not-quite-urgent-but-don't-want-to-wait-until-morning-because-it-hurts-now care center?

Inquiring minds, etc etc.

I've been meaning to try a Melting Pot up here, but I think whenever I'm by the Bay and want some fondue goodness, it's La Fondue all the way for me.

The San Mateo one is the one I always go to. Methinks this could be cause to get your butt up here to hang one time!
