What are your middle names?
[livejournal.com profile] gridlore is named for his paternal grandfather; my middle name is the same as roughly 2/3 of all the women I know born within about an 18-month window around my birthdate. (Yes, I'm dodging the question. But "$RELATIVE's middle name" is becoming a more common security challenge.)
How long have you been together?
Two weeks shy of forever nineteen years.
How long did you know each other before you started dating?
Define "know." We were aware of one another, but the actual knowing started about the same time as the dating did.
Who asked whom out?
Jesus, I have no idea.
How old are each of you?
Doug is The Answer™ for another five months; I'll be Jack Benny's immortal 39 (for the first time!) in June.
Whose siblings do you see the most?
Mine, but not by much.
Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple?
Dealing with my depression, and the cascade of issues that are caused at least in part thereby.
Did you go to the same school?
Nope.
Are you from the same home town?
Amazingly, yes.
Who is smarter?
...reply hazy, ask again later.
Who is the most sensitive?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Me.
Where do you eat out most as a couple?
At the moment, nowhere.
Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
Portland, OR (though strictly speaking, we were traveling as a trio; that was when we went to Callahanicon with [livejournal.com profile] dafydd). Come August, this answer will change to Montreal, QC.
Who has the craziest exes?
...now, really, is there a good answer to this question?
Who has the worst temper?
Not one of you is going to believe that Doug recently asked me to look into anger-management therapy, but I swear to you it's true. He has the more obvious temper, but I have the tendency to sublimate everything until I can't deal any longer...and if it's really bad, I get physically violent.
Who does the cooking?
I'm the one who has been known to take individual raw ingredients and actually turn them into something resembling food, but most of what we eat (sadly) is pre-made in some fashion or another.
Who is the neat-freak?
Let's just say that Doug's the one more likely to overcome our natural tendency to sloth.
Who is more stubborn?
We both are, in different ways.
Who hogs the bed covers?
Yes. ;-) (Doug goes to bed earlier than I do - obviously! - so I frequently have to fight to get enough to cover me when I first come in. Once I'm there, though, look out.)
Who wakes up earlier?
Someone, PLEASE, explain to me how I managed to marry a Morning Person.
Where was your first date?
Unless I am mistaken about the date, this was it. The setlist looks right, though (for the first set, anyway; we were afraid we'd miss the last BART train, so we left early in the second).
Who is more jealous?
Irrelevant to the relationship, at this point.
How long did it take to get serious?
He proposed six weeks after we first kissed.
Who eats more?
...next question.
Who does the laundry?
I'm trying to do my share of it, but stairs and I still aren't the best of friends, so it winds up Doug's chore more often than not.
Who’s better with the computer?
Me. Though I don't think the divide is quite as broad as it once was.
Who drives when you are together?
Me, for the most part, since Doug drives for a living these days.

My middle name actually comes from both my grandfathers. And I asked you out.
