Ages upon ages ago, there was someone on LJ who had an icon based on a piece of Bunny fanart that had them all in scrubs with the caption "The bunnies were playing House." Does anyone know where I could get my hands on a copy of the artwork? (I have a sudden urge to use it as my badge insert for FC this weekend, what with the con theme and all....)

[livejournal.com profile] bottledgoose, this is [livejournal.com profile] browngirl. Ayesha, this is Andee. Go forth and Caribbean-food-geek together. :D

(I just wish y'all weren't on opposite sides of the same state....)

First and foremost, a request for Dreamwidth account names - I suspect that more of you than I currently follow on the DW side actually have accounts, and I want to make sure I'm connected with all of you. (If you're more comfortable just adding [personal profile] kshandra and sending me a PM to let me know who you are/were on LJ, that's fine, too; I just want to be sure I know who everyone is.)

Next, a couple of pointers for journals/communities you should perhaps be following - [community profile] lj_refugees on the DW side, [livejournal.com profile] rollback88 on the LJ side.

Finally, from [personal profile] argylepiratewd in [community profile] lj_refugees, a friending meme.

Edit: But wait, there's more! Thanks to [personal profile] musyc for sharing the following:

[personal profile] rydra_wong is hosting the Giant Community Rec-o-matic Post, for users to help each other find interesting comms. (Also [site community profile] dw_community_promo to advertise comms and [community profile] create_my_comm to suggest comms you'd like to see but don't have time to make/run.)

[livejournal.com profile] ashbet, meet [livejournal.com profile] subluxate. Having seen both of you go on at length about EDS and associated fuckery, I figured you should know each other.

Tom Smith is a very funny man. He is a very talented man. And he is a very gracious man. He has been wonderful about boosting the signal when [livejournal.com profile] gridlore and I have needed help over the past few months, and for this we are grateful.

And now, it's time for me to return the favor.

Please help if you can. If you can't, please consider boosting the signal yourself.

  1. The dropdown menus on your Lyrics page aren't working - you can select any damn song you please, but nothing happens. (I'm using Firefox on WinXP, in case this is browser/OS specific.)
  2. Related to this, my friend [livejournal.com profile] kadyg was trying to find the lyrics to "Making Buddha's Hard To Do" last night while the site was down for maintenance...and wound up transcribing them herself. D'you have five minutes to check her work?

Someone on my f'list works at (or is connected to someone who works at) Google and can answer this question, don't they?

If you have any information about how to contact his family members, please contact Glen Wooten at kar120c(at)sbcglobal(dot)net immediately. You can also email Elisa Sheets at elisa(at)mib(dot)org.

Even a first name of a family member or a city of residence would be helpful to narrow down the search.

If you know anyone who might know something, please feel free to pass the message on.

UPDATE, 1119HRS PDT: The fannish grapevine has succeeded and the executor of Gerry's will has been located. Updates will be posted at http://www.caringbridge.org/ under Gerald Perkins.

Methinks the two of you will have lots to talk about re: this coming Friday....
