The Next Day

It did not surprise me in the least to wake up this morning showing signs of a depressive episode, despite being at therapeutic levels with my meds. A death in the family will do that to a person.

I was NOT, however, expecting to come home from work and sleep for almost four hours. ([personal profile] gridlore was surprised I woke up at all...)

Now to see if I can get myself BACK to sleep, so as not to completely mess myself up before a solo day in the office tomorrow.

Sleep well; I hope things get better soon.

"Good mourning" is a marvelous turn of phrase. I must remember it.

Good grieving *is* good and I hope you're able to work through things with minimal problems. Be warned: grief can surprise you sometimes, even when you are expecting it to surprise you.

You'll handle this, I know - you're more than tough enough. But I hope you can find the most peaceful way possible through the process.

I'm sure that she was there, no need to call. Love does stuff like that.

I'm sorry for your loss. I would have posted earlier but I wasn't quite sure who had died, having forgotten your previous posts about trying to get to see Grandpa Jim before he died. (The brain, it has not been doing the working so well lately.) I hope that worked out and you got there.

Now I'm trying to find an appropriate way to point out how hot that man was. He was your grandfather? Well, even if those pictures were 30 years old, he beat all of my male relations into a cocked hat. Wow! Your grandma was a lucky woman!
